The HM181 is based off PxToys 9302/Speed Pioneer, a popular 1/18 scale truck. It's a great platform, and I think BEZGAR managed to improve on it.Pretty much every iteration of this truck I have seen does come with metal dog bones for both front and rear, and this one is no exception. BEZGAR's HM181, however, comes with two different color bodies, and in my opinion, look MUCH better than the one that the 9302/Speed Pioneer comes with. And while the other variants by other companies include Li-ion packs, BEZGAR one-ups them and includes not one, but TWO 850 mAh Li-Po packs with a Li-Po bag to safely store them in. The included transmitter is also better. This is a very well put together truck and you can actually feel and hear it. It's very smooth.Being the 1/18 scale that it is, replacement and upgrade parts are inexpensive, and you can find them fairly easy. The only "downside" of this truck is that it comes with 'Tamiya' plugs, instead of the more widely used 'T-plugs' (Deans), but that's quite alright, as I can always solder them on. No biggie. I wouldn't let the plugs detract you from the purchase, though, as they are quite fine for this setup.I have to mention that while this Amazon listing/product info does correctly state that these are spring shocks, the box inaccurately states that they come with oil-filled shocks. They are non oil-filled, but as I mentioned above, it's rather cheap to upgrade them (about $10 a pair). Still, for non oil-filled shocks, they hold up on this truck decently. I don't normally say that about spring shocks. In fact, I have never said that. These are a bit better for sure, so you won't have to go out and immediately replace them, if ever. The box also incorrectly states that the transmission cups are metal, but they are actually plastic. It's the dog bones that are metal. The last incorrect claim on the box is a little tricky. It states that the tires have foam inserts in them, but I'm not too sure about that. Not only do they feel like there isn't, I reached out to a few RC YouTube channels to verify this, and they too said that it doesn't feel like they are. Without cutting them open, it's tough to verify this, and I'm not going to do that. If there are foam inserts, then they must be really thin and soft ones to the point where you can easily feel the contours of the walls of the rims/wheels.To BEZGAR: I understand that nowhere on your product listing does it make any of these claims, but it would be nice to make the above corrections on your box to correctly reflect what actually comes equipped on the truck to avoid any confusion with your customers. This is an RTR kit. And it really is, as they even include the three (3) AA batteries for the transmitter so that you don't have to go run out and buy them to play with the truck. All you need to do is charge up the Li-Po packs, and you're set. The box comes with everything you will need to get up and running. Awesome for the kid who receives this as a gift. I remember how that felt when I was young. It was such a drag. To have them included can be a game changer for a youngan and his/her unboxing experience.I can't end this review without mentioning BEZGAR's outstanding customer service. They are prompt and very helpful. I reached out to them concerning a different model I am reviewing, and I didn't mention that I was a Vine Reviewer. They got back to me in less than a day, updated me via email every step of the way, and was very kind and professional. They aim to satisfy their customers and I can tell.At first I thought BEZGAR was no different from any other company who sells rebranded RC cars/trucks, but after owning several from them and experiencing their level of service, I am going to have to change my mind. They are a clear cut above the rest. For some of their models, you may end up paying a little more than what other companies charge for theirs, but you do get a level of service that you won't find with the other companies. And while some of the changes made to their iteration on some models may not be the most ideal, in my opinion, they do try and compensate by including things such as Li-Po packs over Li-ion, and/or Li-Po bags, an extra body, more batteries, etc...I'll conclude by saying that while the RC cars/trucks BEZGAR offers are aimed towards the younger, or more novice crowd, they can be fun for anyone, even for the more seasoned folk. The HM181 being as small as it is can be played with inside very easily. And should you take it outside, it is IPX5 rated, so splashes, and small puddles will be fine. Just don't go mud bogging with it, or submerge it in water. It isn't a submarine. If you're thinking about this truck as a gift for someone, do it. This is probably the best iteration of this truck I have seen, and with their great customer service, you just can't go wrong. I'm sure the recipient will adore it. 5/5
