Good, fast, fun, but weak parts

Pay extra for the the upgraded version.

This is the cheaper version because of the plastic gearset, differential cups, and axle ends. The drive axles will break after a short time, and the replacements will do the same. The plastic gears will strip next, then the diffs, and evntually the scews that hold the wheels on will go and those turned out to be irreplaceable. We have two of these cars and both have the same issues. I've tried the "upgrade" all-metal driveshafts and many do not fit well and none worked with the stock diffs. You'll also have to convert it to pinlock axles when the screws break as they dont sell the screws. You need to upgrade the diffs and the driveshafts and find a combo of the two that doesn't bind during shock compression. (Metal ones are about 1mm longer than the plastic)

Also, the stock axles are way too tight in the wheel bearings. (See it sanded down in the picture)

Otherwise it's a great car. My kids love them. The price for entry is fantastic, but the total cost to run it and the downtime are more than getting the better car from the start. We are at least $100 into upgrade parts for each car to keep it running.

The driveshaft you need is 16410s that looks similar to the original except with a male stud. Do not get the "u-joint" version, it's slightly too long between the bearing seat and the pin at the diff-cup and will bind up( see picture)

You also need the upgraded diffs because of the additional depth of the slots in the cups (see other picture)

Fun, fast, and durable

The Bezgar is an excellent choice for an entry-level RC car. It offers immediate fun and is well-designed straight out of the box. Its appealing aesthetics are also worth mentioning. We own both this model and the hp161s version, and we thoroughly enjoy both of them.

Fun little truck

This is a fun little rc truck. It's quick but not super fast so would be good for kids or someone just getting into the hobby and there are a ton of parts online for this truck if anything breaks. I wish it came with 2 truck bodies like some trucks do at this price point but not a big deal. Honestly it isn't fast enough for the wheelie bar, need a brushless version to do wheelies. I don't like the little groves running along the chassis, makes it difficult to line up the body correctly but in sure it helps keeping some rocks and stuff out of the chassis. If you are looking for upgrades oil filled shocks would make a big difference on this truck. A few complaints but if you get on sale for $50 like I did you can't go wrong!

If your axles break

I had a hard time getting axles for this car. I hit something and broke one of the plastic axles. My fault. Also we wrecked it about 50 times before it broke. I ordered them but they came from China are scheduled at about a month. While waiting I ordered a HyperGo H16BM as an upgraded car and it came with 2 extra metal axles just in case they break. The H16BM metal axles worked in this car and I am still waiting on my original axles from China. The H16BM axles are on prime for $12 and take about a day to come in. All 4 axles are the same. Hopefully this saves you some time. Also this thing is awesome. My 9 year old loves it and it does have a learning curve. Now we both have one and it is great.

Super speed but battery don't last!

?My son got this for Christmas and it goes really fast. Only thing is if it flips it don't always flip back over so you just have to go over and fix it. But it can go through leaves and sticks well and all kinds of bumps. It came with 2 batteries and take about 45-1hr to charge. Battery doesn't last long though, maybe 5 min-10min.
