This was a great upgrade to a much much faster car that drives well on asphalt, gravel, and mowed grass. The variable speed adjustment gets way more use than we initially expected and a great way to ramp up and depending on the track. Battery pack lasts a decent amount of time, but if driving at max speed on grass, having an extra would help. Overall so far so good and looking forward to seeing how it holds up!

After about 15 minutes of use the trucks backwards and forwards motion became hard to control. Instead of sending the truck back for replacement I contacted the warranty department. They promptly diagnosed the problem and then sent out a new remote control which corrected the problem.

Battery may take longer than 3 hrs to charge. but overall the boys loved them.

My first hobby rc great for learning to bash and mini monster jam simulation. U need to upgrade to metal driveshafts after a while but this thing will take abuse like a champ

Purchased this for our 8-year-old son for Christmas. I really wanted something that was going to operate on a lot of different surfaces so it wasn't only used in the house.Pros: this thing has worked on every surface we've tried except when he got it in some wet grass which is completely understandable.The batteries charge quickly and give a decent amount of play time with each charge.It's fast and fun!Con: the only issue we've had was the metal clips coming off the hood when the car flipped over while driving. This isn't the end of the world, as the car came with an extra set, but tells me we'll need more of those in the future.Overall we're very happy with it so far and can't wait to get it outside more!
